Tarpon and bonefish action. Capt. Vinnie Biondoletti

Capt. Vinnie Biondoletti has had some good luck in the back country lately.  On 6/4/08 he fished John Eaton and caught him 4 bonefish in the 4 - 6 lb range.  That evening and one other evening he fished Brian Mahoney, and went a total 5 for 8 tarpon, in the 50 - 125 lb range.  On 6/5/08 he took Ray and Eric Kensic, and went 4 for 7 tarpon 75 - 100 lbs.  Great job!

Tarpon and permit on fly!

Capt. Ken Cohan had his angler out a few days ago in the back country.  They caught some permit as well as 4 tarpon on fly!  They were getting ready to take off since they were suppose to fish a half day and tarpon started pouring through in the back country.  Great job!

back country heating up

Wendy and Tom Sims from Miami Shores were fishing with capt. skip nielsen today. Quite the day they had. Each of them caught and released backcountry grand slams. consisting of 5 redfish,4 snook, and 6 tarpon from 60 to 100lbs. We were fishing near First National Bank in the western reaches of Fl. bay. The catches were made on spinning tackle.

Permits on the wrecks!

The Man O War with Capt. Marc Ellis and mate Travis Kvadus did well fishing the local offshore wrecks for permit.  They caught several large fish, 2 over 30 lbs and 1 around 40 lbs!  Live crabs did the trick here!  The customers were from Ft. Meyers and enjoyed themselves!
