Rick Stanczyk had a great day fishing in the gulf with Dave Brown down from Boston on Dec. 27th. They caught a bunch of nice spanish mackeral, jacks, and ladyfish early on in the morning. Later in the afternoon they moved out further as the wind layed down and caught 3 cobias up to 20 lbs, 3 goliath grouper up to 40 lbs, a small permit, and a couple small blacktip sharks. Mike said he wanted to catch a swordfish before he kicks the bucket, and we did just that. On the first drop of the day Mike hooked up and within an hour put a 270 lb swordfish in the boat. They'll be eating well for quite a while. Congrats Mike!
